Roz’s Celebrity Girl Crushes

I believe that everyone has same sex crushes, whether they admit it or not. I’m breaking my list down into brunettes and blondes, sorry gingers, the red hair just doesn’t do it for me.
Brunettes
5. Selma Blair – She’s my goth babe. Super smoking hot eyes. She’s also a fashionista and lately, can do no wrong on the red carpets. She did a fantastic job in Hellboy and everyone remembers her kiss with Buffy back in the day.
4. Rosario Dawson – When Sin City came out, people were falling in love with Jessica Alba. And I was like… Hot damn, Rosario Dawson is stealing the show. She was also awesome in Grindhouse: Death Proof. I think she’s badass, and hot.
3. Kate Beckinsale – If you’ve seen Underworld, you think Kate’s a babe. She has a sexy little body that fits into her vampire tights and some of the most gorgeous gowns I’ve ever seen. Kate seems classy, with the real world factor I like. I’ve seen her eating French fries, and I hate that she’s still skinny.
2. Natalie Portman – Cutest. Thing. Ever. She was in Star Wars, which means awesome to me. Also, she’s a sexy brunette who can actually act. Remember her in Garden State? Steal your heart. {note from Matt - biggest celebrity crush of all time}
1. Zooey Deschanel – Ever since the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie came out, I’ve been in love with Zooey. And pretty much everything she’s been in since, even Elf. She’s an interesting looking babe, not just your stereotypical starlet. She rocks my socks.
Blondes
5. Ali Larter – She’s a babe and a super hero. Ali has a really hot body, she must work out like crazy to be that fit. Even though Heroes has starting sucking, I still love Ali and all her split personalities.
4. Rachel McAdams – Ok, I know you are probably thinking she makes a hotter brunette. But with the blue eyes and peaches and cream complexion, I think she looks great as a blonde. She’s super cute, was fantastic in the Notebook, and she’s Canadian.
3. Naomi Watts – Naomi was awesome in the Ring, and I loved her in King Kong. She’s a talented lady, and a hottie. This spot used to belong to Michelle Pfeiffer, who’s recent string of girly movies has resulted in her demotion.
2. Charlize Theron – Babelicious. This woman is a goddess. She’s a great actress, has a sense of humor and a body to die for. Curse her fantasticness. It boggles the mind how hot Charlize is. And those legs!
1. Scarlett Johansson – My super girl crush. She’s amazing. I’ve loved her in everything, especially opposite Ewan in The Island. Plus, she does voices for Robot Chicken. Could she be more beautiful and awesome? No. Le sigh. (Recently she’s become a brunette, just to break my heart.)
Now, despite what you might be thinking, I’m not a lesbian. Not to leave the men out, here are my top 5 dudes:
5. Clive Owen – He’s in awesome movies, and he’s a manly man. Unlike most of the other guys on my list. Or, my husband. Sorry sweetie.
4. James Spader – I was 14 when I fell in love with Dr. Daniel Jackson. Since then, James has been in some weird movies. And he’s aged. But I still think he’s dreamy. {note from Matt - Ok Roz, you're wierd}
3. Ryan Gosling – This is one seriously hot man. He’s a Canadian too. I was going to find a pic of him sans shirt, but then I’d never leave the computer. /drool
2. Leonardo Dicaprio – It’s hard to believe that Titanic didn’t ruin his career. I think Leo has established himself as an excellent actor since then. And even though I loved his baby face circa Romeo and Juliet, he’s certainly stayed a hottie into his 30s.
1. Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) – This debate will likely raise it’s ugly head throughout our website and most likely a podcast or two. Here’s the thing: I love Darth Vader. I love him played by Hayden. Episode II makes me weak in the knees. I don’t disagree with you that the dialogue was terrible. I agree that Anakin was a “whiny little bitch” as one of our friends recently told me. However, everyone felt the same way about Harry in The Order of the Phoenix.
