For When The Universe Sucks
By Roz Young June 1, 2010
Lots of times, you want to kick the universe in the junk. We’ve all been there. So I made cupcakes. They are white cake treats with vanilla frosting that I added food colouring to, making them yellow, pink and orange. Now, it’s probably cheating to achieve epic cuteness with adorable, fluted Pooh Bear cupcake wrappers, but there you go. The sprinkles are for my friends, and it’s me giving the universe a big “neener neener” for you.

I brought most of the cupcakes to a birthday party, and may have indulged in a few myself… They were tasty. I hate that we are supposed to be avoiding simple carbohydrates these days. So apparently these are little death cakes and should be avoided at all costs. Can’t we have just a little bit of peril? Why is everything bad for us all of a sudden? I was waaay healthier as a kid, and I ate all sorts of sugar-filled crap. Now I run half way down the block and I need a breather.
